Grand Island Speedboat And Snorkel

Offer Image
Have you ever imagined swimming with sea turtles? Do you want the chance to see seventy five percent of the island? Well, this is your opportunity!

Grand Island Speedboat and Snorkel

Start your 6-hour scenic adventure directly from Dock Maarten Chesterfield Wharf, as you climb aboard your speedboat and make your way to Simpson Bay Bridge on the Dutch side of the island. There, you will see yachts and villas on display in the Caribbean's largest lagoon. Along the way you will enjoy unlimited beverages as you relax and take in the picturesque scenery.

Your first stop will be Marigot, capital of the French Saint-Martin, where cafes line the Marina Royale. Pass to the opposite side to see private sailing boats moored in the bay and view the historic Ft. Louis and French flag overlooking the town. It's a short cruise to Friars Bay, known for its full moon parties, and the more secluded Happy Bay.

Your captain will make a quick stop at the unbelievably white beach of Tintamarre Island for some unforgettable swimming with sea turtles in the calm, turquoise waters of the marine reserve.

Re-board your boat and head towards Pinel Island where you can sit in the shallow water with a refreshing beverage and enjoy a freshly made sandwich lunch with fruit and chips on the side, on the beautiful sun-drenched Yellow Beach. If you'd like, hike around the tiny island to explore sandy shores and isolated rock pools where crystal-clear waters are protected from pounding surf.

After approximately one hour at Pinel Island, ride to Creole Rock, located in the middle of the Bay of Grand Case. This marine reserve is the island's best-kept secret, where sea life abounds in the shallow water. After a snorkel stop for an undersea adventure, cruise around the island, passing the red rock cliffs of Bay Rouge and the mansions of Terre Basse. There, you'll have the opportunity to feed the fish in the crystal-clear waters of Long Bay while keeping an eye out for any celebrities on the golden sands of the exclusive La Samanna Resort.

Next, be sure to have your camera ready to photograph planes directly overhead as aircraft come in for a landing at nearby Princess Juliana Airport. This is the highlight of any trip to this island and the place to capture memories worthy of any social media page.

As your excursion comes to an end, you will take a short cruise back around Simpson Bay to admire some of the mega yachts before arriving back at Dock Maarten where you will enjoy a special conclusion of free ice cream upon arrival.

Please Note: The marine park fee of $6 USD per person is not included in the price of your tour and is payable to the venue on the day of the tour. Please note, only cash is accepted.
